Kevin Schaefer

Kevin Schaefer began his legal career here at Dabdoub Law Firm while he was still in law school as a legal clerk. After graduating and passing the bar, Kevin joined our team full-time. Now, he is a diligent, insightful Miami disability attorney who furthers our firm's mission to advocate for clients who must fight for the disability benefits they deserve.

Since joining the firm full-time, Kevin has successfully confronted every major disability insurance provider on the market. He handles all phases of his clients' cases—from initial claim filings to any necessary appeals—and has already built an impressive reputation for litigation in both state and federal court. Much his casework involves the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), but he has represented clients who have faced resistance with various disability claims—including those for short and long-term benefits.

Kevin's clients include those who have suffered from chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, stroke, multiple sclerosis, stroke, cardiovascular disease, fibromyalgia, cognitive impairments, and many other serious ailments. He has even represented former NFL players in their claims of total and permanent disability following CTE/concussions.

Kevin earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016, where he graduated magna cum laude. While attending, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for his work at the school's Representing a Pro Sports Franchise course. Prior to law school, Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Sports Business Management from the University of Central Florida.
