Carter Meader Sox is Miami disability attorney here at Dabdoub Law Firm and a diligent advocate for those wrongly denied the disability benefits they deserve. Whether her clients are looking to recover benefits from a private policy or a group insurance policy, Carter is ready to handle filings, appeals, and even litigation in state or federal court. She also litigated for her clients and gained valuable experience in wide range of different labor law matters related to ERISA.
Carter earned her Juris Doctor from the American University Washington College of Law in 2013, where she graduated magna cum laude and was admitted to the Order of the Coif. While studying law, she also served Journal of Gender, Social Policy and the Law's Symposium Editor and as the Moot Court Honor Society President. She spent a semester working for the Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division, Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Employment Discrimination and earned a Peggy Browning Fellowship for her work with labor unions.
